Roberta Bigliani is a group vice president at IDC. She leads the European industry research teams, which includes coverage of energy, financial services, healthcare and life science, government, manufacturing, and retail. She is also the executive sponsor for Europe of IDC's Future of Work Practice and the IDC IT/OT Integration Strategies Practice.
In her role she offers strategic direction and advice to both vendors and end-user clients. Her main areas of expertise include industry transformation, with a special focus on energy companies, the application of new technologies to enhance business processes, digital transformation, future of work, customer experience, and IT and OT integration.
She is a frequent speaker and moderator at industry conferences and is widely quoted in the media. She is based in the IDC Italy office in Milan.
Roberta Bigliani has about 30 years' experience in consulting, advisory, and research. Before joining IDC in 2007, she worked for 15 years at Accenture, where she led innovative consulting projects for major utilities and oil and gas companies.
