Adriana Allocato is research manager for IDC Health Insights in Europe. In her role, she helps both healthcare and life science technology suppliers and organizations to make the most of their digital transformation journeys. Her core research helps European healthcare providers to embrace disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence and digital twins as they move toward value-based models. Her main research focus is on data information management and the evolution of technologies based on natural language processing, such as cognitive systems.

Background

Before joining IDC, Allocato worked in the business development team at Reply in Milan, conducting market research, analysis, and content development for healthcare providers across major technology categories, including Big Data and cloud computing. Prior to that, she worked in academia as a research fellow in strategic management at Aston Business School and Cass Business School, in the U.K.
