Gabriella Cattaneo is associate vice president of the IDC4EU European Government Consulting unit, which she founded in 2005 to provide research and consulting services to governments and policy makers on ICT market trends and scenarios, leveraging IDC's global research. Cattaneo has more than 25 years' experience in socioeconomic research, impact assessment and benchmarking of ICT policies on behalf of the European Commission. She represents IDC in the Big Data Value Association (BDVA). Cattaneo graduated in political sciences (magna cum laude) from Milan State University and worked for 10 years as a business journalist before becoming an ICT industry analyst.

Irene Magnani is a consultant in the IDC4EU European Government Consulting unit. Within the unit, Irene provides project management assistance for ICT research projects. Irene holds a Master’s degree in Economics, Finance and International Integration from the HEC Management School – University of Liège (Belgium), and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from University of Pavia (Pavia, Italy). Before joining IDC in 2019 Irene worked as a research intern for the Trade Policy Office of the Italian Permanent Representation to the European Union. Alessandra Massaro is Senior Consultant in the IDC4EU European Government unit.
Alessandra has over 5 years' international experience in Project Management. She has been working as consultant managing the preparation and implementation of several EU projects.
Before joining IDC, she worked for the Dublin based EU agency Eurofound as Programme Administrator within the project ‘The Future in Manufacturing in Europe’, coordinating project activities, deliverables’ production and project dissemination. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a Master’s degree in European Studies.

 

Giorgio Micheletti has been a consulting director in the IDC4EU European Government Consulting unit since October 2013. He joined IDC in March 2005 as consulting manager for the European Vertical Markets expertise centre. In February 2009, he was appointed consulting manager for IDC CEMA (Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa). Micheletti is an experienced project manager and holds a certification from the Project Management Institute as a project management professional (PMP). He project managed the study on IoT and cloud that IDC carried out for the European Commission in 2014 and the study on the European data market (SMART 2013/0063) for the European Commission, DG Connect. Cristina Pepato is a consultant in the IDC4EU European Government Consulting unit. Within the unit, Pepato provides project management assistance for ICT research projects, including the preparation and execution of calls for tenders, projects and studies for the EU and other public international and national government bodies and entities. Thanks to her additional training in journalism, Pepato also regularly carries out communication, dissemination and stakeholder engagement activities. Richard Stevens is a consulting director at IDC Italy. He has a master of science degree from UWM Madison and a master's degree in economics from Johns Hopkins University. Stevens has more than 15 years' IT research experience, first as director of international research at Formula and then at Insiel. He is a trained ICT project manager and has led international teams in the development of enterprise-class IT systems from analysis to development and deployment.
