Anielle Guedes is a senior research analyst in IDC’s European Customer Insights & Analysis group. In her role she advises and supports Tech providers on their European vertical strategies. Her research is focused on analyzing European vertical markets' digital trends, including industry digital ecosystems, digital use cases, and digital-native organizations.

Before joining IDC, Guedes worked as a technology consultant for corporate open innovation initiatives, advising several boards of directors and shareholders and government agencies. She has worked with McKinsey and Gartner.

In her early career, Anielle founded an award-winning 3D printing startup, being featured at ForbesUnder30, MIT Under 35, and Bloomberg Innovation. She has lived and worked in Brazil, the United States, France, Austria, the United Emirates, Germany, and Italy.

Guedes holds a bachelor's degree in economics and politics from the University of London/London School of Economics and a graduate degree in emerging technologies from Singularity University, where she studied at the NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California.

Based in Italy, Anielle speaks English, Portuguese, and Italian fluently. She also speaks basic German.
